Name of Person in Need of Prayer:: Butch Downs Date Posted: February 6, 2012 Prayer Concern: Burroughs friend, Butch Downs, is doing OK with his first week of chemo. Please continue to pray for Butch that the chemo will be effective in battling the lung and bone cancer and that he will not have serious side effects. Pray that God's comfort and presence will be very real to him. Name of Person in Need of Prayer:: Jack Grovier Date Posted: February 6, 2012 Prayer Concern: Barbara Delk's brother, Jack Grovier, is in ICU in Des Moines. Pray for the Doctors that they will determine the proper treatment to restore him to health. Pray for God's love and comfort to surround Jack and his family during this time. Please pray for God's peace and comfort and for safe travels for Jim and Jeanne and their family as they prepare to celebrate her life. Name of Person in Need of Prayer:: Bailey Ford Date Posted: January 23, 2012 Prayer Concern: The Burroughs thank you for all your prayers and support for their granddaughter, Bailey. Her counts are coming up and hopefully within 1-2 weeks she will start her 5th and last phase of Chemo at Mayo's in Rochester, MN. If the count is not where it is supposed to be, Mayo will do a Bone Marrow Byopsy for further diagnosis. Please continue to pray for Bailey that she can complete this final phase of chemo. Nancy is coming home from the hospital 1/19 and it appears she is making improvement. Pray for Nancy as she gos to therapy and and that her system will stabalized. Pray for Bob & Konny who are there helping with the families needs while Nancy recovers. She will remain at Ashely Health & Rehab for now. Pray that God's loving comfort and peace continue to surround Gerry and her family during this time. Name of Person in Need of Prayer:: Glenn Dale Date Posted: January 19, 2012 Prayer Concern: Ruth Cozad's brother, Glenn Dale, has been hospitalized for heart related issues and high blood pressure. Please pray that these problems can be resolved and that he can return home. Please pray that physical therapy goes well and that Jean returns to good health in the not too distant future. Pray that the results will be benign and that God's presence and comfort will surround William. Both Dennis' father and Carol's mother are in need of constant care and a change in living arrangments. Please pray for God's peace and comfort for Dennis and Carol and their families. Barb is being treated for melanoma that was discovered in a mole biopsy. Pray that the treatment will be effective in arresting the cancer. Pray that God will surround them with his love and comfort. Name of Person in Need of Prayer:: Roslyn McKay Date Posted: November 17, 2011 Prayer Concern: Please be in prayer for Gene & Roberta McKay's daughter-in-law, Roslyn, who has extensive breast cancer. She begins chemo on 11/18. Pray that the treatments will be effective and she will have minimal side effects. Pray that the comfort and peace of the Lord will be very real to her. Name of Person in Need of Prayer:: Jack Simpson Date Posted: November 10, 2011 Prayer Concern: Jack had a cochlear implant yesterday and plans are to return home today. Pray that the implant works and that Jack is able to regain some of his hearing loss as he undergoes therapy in the coming weeks. Name of Person in Need of Prayer:: Kristi Hamilton Date Posted: October 12, 2011 Prayer Concern: Please continue to pray for Mick & Jean Ellingson's daughter who is undergoing treatment for hepatitis. Jean reported that Kristi had a positive turn around following a set back from a recent gall bladder attack. Pray that Kristi will respond well to the treatment for hepatitis and not have any side effects.
